Where Reactive Recycling is proven in production
The seven production processes Nexam Chemical claims its recycling additives work in, what evidence each claim carries, and which customer announcements stand behind them.
Nexam Chemical presents its recycling technology under one name, Reactive Recycling, and lists the production processes it claims to work in. This page is that list, with what the company says about each, and with the evidence separated from the assertion. Everything here is the manufacturer's own claim unless stated otherwise.

The one figure with a test method behind it
Across those pages, the most specific published claim is for blow moulded rHDPE: over 200% increase in stress crack resistance lifetime before failure, measured to ASTM D-1693. A named test method is more than the other applications get, though the report, the reference material and the recycled feed used are not published.
For blown film the company states stable production at around 2.5% masterbatch where production was previously not possible, and characterizes the market as capping recycled content at 30% to 50%. For thermoformed PET sheet it describes moving from around 50% recycled content to 80% or 100%.
What commercial progress has been announced
The claims above are marketing. These are the events the company has announced, which is the closest thing to evidence a shareholder gets between reports:
- August 2026: two more recycling customers entering commercial production, one in North America and one in Europe, neither named. The company states trials cut defective products by more than 90% and that samples shipped in June and July rose by more than 80% year on year.
- June 2026: distribution agreements for France, with Vanoplast, and for Turkey, with the partner unnamed.
- May 2026: production assets relocated and upgraded across Sweden, Hungary and Poland, with a newly commissioned line.
- April 2026: industrial results with a Canadian customer running 100% rPET rigid food packaging.
- March 2026: a United States customer expanding use, with the annual run rate stated as rising from about 6.5 MSEK to about 11 MSEK from the second quarter.
- January 2026: a distribution agreement with Palmer Holland for North America, in a release that concedes current sales in the segment are limited.
- November 2025: a repeat blown film customer, referencing the Kullaplast collaboration.
Read together, that is a company moving from trials to repeat orders in recycling, with most customers still unnamed. The reported financials are in the data room, and the analyst notes tab carries the commissioned research.
Where the claims are weakest
Three gaps are worth holding in mind:
- No independent trial data is published for any application. The one named test method is the company's own test.
- Customers are mostly unnamed, so the concentration of revenue cannot be assessed from announcements.
- Run-rate figures, where given, are the company's estimate of an annualized rate, not booked revenue.
