What has happened commercially
Every commercial event in Nexam's press releases, newest first. Each line is the company's own sentence, linked to the release it came from, and the figures in them are kept apart by kind, because an order, a customer's run rate and an estimated potential are not the same thing, and are easy to add together by mistake.
Three kinds of figure
- Order
- an order's value
- Annual run rate
- what a customer uses in a year, stated or projected by the company
- Annual potential, estimated
- the company's estimate of what an application could be worth a year
None of them is revenue, and they do not add up to a forecast.
Sealed boxes, and open ones: the year on the belt
Every commercial event rides the belt at its date. A sealed box is an order the company booked; an open one is a yearly rate it has stated; a plain one is news with no amount. Pick a box to read it below.
